We will be removing recalcitrant blackberries at Westside Park. Our work will be in several-previously planted areas, down the trail from the new play area. Blackberries are still growing in places, and we want to let them know we don't want them there! Best done by digging them out!

What to Bring

Bring a water bottle and snack, and dress for conditions and weather. You will need closed toe shoes and long pants. Blackberries are thorny. Plan on some mud if it's wet out! We supply gloves and tools, but you can bring your own gloves if you have a favorite pair.

Where to Meet

At the new shelter along 156th Avenue NE at Westside park. If you come late, find us east down the trail.

Where to Park

Along 156th Ave NE by the play area. Or along NE 59th Way, plenty of parking there.
