Join Green Redmond in supporting healthy forests at Smith Woods Park! Spend the morning helping to remove invasive weeds so that our native plants can flourish. All are welcome to attend and no experience is necessary. We will provide all of the tools and training for the day.

What to Bring

A water bottle, a snack if you want one, and tough clothes, and shoes that can get dirty (because they will!), including long pants and a long-sleeved shirt to protect against prickly blackberry. Closed-toed shoes are required: work boots, hiking boots, or running shoes are all fine. Remember to check the weather and bring appropriate layers and rain gear or sun protection as needed.

Where to Meet

Meet along the sidewalk in front of the park’s entrance. (176 Ave. NE and NE 122nd Street, Redmond, WA 98052.)

Street parking is available near the park’s entrance.
