Idylwood Beach Park - MLK Day of Service …01/20/2020

Activities

Join your friends and volunteer to tackle invasive weeds which are threatening the health of Idylwood Park's forests and Idylwood Creek! The creek runs through the park and then out to Lake Sammamish and is home to Kokanee salmon and cutthroat trout. Our work will help to protect the next generation of forest here and to ultimately protect the stream and make it a healthier place for local fish, other wildlife, and park visitors.

Everyone can help! No experience necessary. All ages welcome.

We provide gloves, tools, and training. No prior experience is necessary. You will learn about native plants and forest ecology. Bring as many coworkers, friends, neighbors, and family members with you as you like but please RSVP for all members of your party as space is limited.
