Idylwood Beach Park - Fun Work Party at …10/21/2019

At this event sponsored by One Tree Planted and co hosted by Whale Scout and Green Redmond, we will have a fun morning pulling Himalayan blackberry bushes and English ivy in beautiful Idylwood Park! Idylwood Creek flows through the park and is a salmon spawning stream! It's a perfect opportunity to be out in nature while doing restoration work to improve habitat for the salmon that feed the orcas!

What to Bring

Bring a water bottle and dress for the weather. Closed toed shoes are a must (preferably water proof) since it will most likely be muddy. A long sleeved shirt/jacket is recommended too because blackberries are prickly! Light snacks, coffee and tea will be provided as well as tools, supplies and gloves!

Where to Meet

We'll meet in the large shelter below the main parking lot. Follow the signs!

Free Parking is available just off of West Lake Sammamish Parkway.
