Viewpoint Open Space has been overrun by invasive plant species and in order to clear space for native plants, we will need all the hands we can get! Come play in the dirt, learn about Green Redmond and how it’s helping our local parks, make new friends, and of course have fun while also restoring our green spaces for the enjoyment of all!

What to Bring

A water bottle, a snack if you want one, and tough clothes, and shoes that can get dirty (because they will!), including long pants and a long-sleeved shirt to protect against prickly blackberry. Closed-toed shoes are required: work boots, hiking boots, or running shoes are all fine. Remember to check the weather and bring appropriate layers and rain gear or sun protection as needed.

Where to Park

There is street parking across from the park entrance on 176th Ct NE, but please be considerate of the residents living there and don’t park in front of driveways and mailboxes. Please be careful crossing 24th to get to the park!
