Smith Woods - Get Outside and Volunteer …03/30/2019

Activities

Looking for ways to contribute to a great cause while spending quality time outdoors? Then you should come join the Green Redmond Partnership and our Forest Steward LeAnne for an urban forest restoration work party at Smith Woods Park! Spend time with nature alongside your coworkers and friends and experience the amazing benefits of eco-therapy! We will be removing invasive plants like blackberry so that the native plants, which provide habitat for native wildlife, can thrive. We will also be spreading mulch as a way to add nutrients back to our restoration site.

Everyone can help! All ages are welcome and no experience is necessary. We provide all of the tools and training needed. So bring along your friends and family and get your hands dirty!.
